Kylie Watkins won the Fan Vote for the ‘Last Finalist’ to be up for Player of the Year. She becomes the 7th and last finalist after taking 18,400 of the 36,990 votes. The finalists are: Addison Hoard (Banks County), Lucy Hood (Rabun County), Averie Jones (Lumpkin County), Emma Lightsey (White County), Michel Robbins (Jefferson), Abby Slaton (Dawson County), and Kylie Watkins (White County).

Following the ‘Last Finalist’ Fan Vote Winner, the finalist group will be voted on internally with a panel of up to 25 local media reporters, former GHSA officials, coaches, etc to determine the Girls Basketball Player of the Year. The voting is Heisman-style.
