The BLITZ Girls Soccer Players of the Week are Keygan Antosiak (Rabun County), Abby Gardella (Towns County), and Kate James (Jefferson). Antosiak took 11,075 of the 31,961 votes to win the Fan Vote. Gardella and James were the BLITZ Picks.

KEYGAN ANTOSIAK – RABUN COUNTY

Rabun County’s Keygan Antosiak is relishing her opportunity to shine as a senior leader. The forward had a pair of hat tricks (6 goals) last week for the Lady Wildcats. This is her first POW award.

ABBY GARDELLA – TOWNS COUNTY

Towns County’s Abby Gardella had a standout performance last week for the top-10 ranked Lady Indians. The junior forward notched a hat trick in a 4-goal effort, and chipped in with an assist. This is her second career POW award.

KATE JAMES – JEFFERSON

Jefferson’s Kate James is a big reason for the success of the #1-ranked Lady Dragons. The senior midfielder assisted in a shutout of the #1-ranked team in Class 3A (Oconee County), and the team is now 7-0 on the season! This is James’ first POW award.
