SOCCER POWER RANKINGS BLITZ POINT SYSTEM: Quite simply, wins are worth 1 point against a sub .500 team, and 2 points for a quality win (above .500 or state-ranked team). Teams that are currently state-ranked have a 2 point addition, and the top score differential team gets a bonus 2-point; and that generates a scale. We divide that PR score by games played to come up with a weighted score. THEN we look at head-to-head results between local teams and the full body of work. Our top 4 teams we consider common opponents, though that does not hold as much weight. PR score does not necessarily determine the order, but gives you an idea of quality wins.
