EMMA LIGHTSEY – WHITE COUNTY

For the first time in 40 years, White County girls basketball is in the Elite 8. It’s a full team effort, but junior guard Emma Lightsey had a sensational 2-game playoff performance. In Round One and the Sweet 16, Lightsey averaged 20.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and shot 30% from downtown and 80% at the charity stripe. This is Ligthsey’s third career POW award.
