At the 11th Annual Marietta Distance Carnival, Lumpkin County sophomore Keli George finished 47th in her 1600 run at 6:00.99. She was 21st in the 3200 with a 13:36.82. This is her third career POW award.

CHRISTINA KELLER – RABUN COUNTY

What a phenomenal outing for Rabun County’s Christina Keller. The senior, in a meet against Union County, placed first in 4 events – the triple jump, 100 MH, and 300 MH, as well as anchoring the 4×400 relay. In the triple jump, Keller registered a jump of 34′. In the 100 MH, her 17.98 place her first, and same with her 54.46 time in the 300 MH. Keller’s triple jump is the most remarkable, as she is currently Top-25 among all classifications and first in Class 1A DI with that distance. This is Keller’s first POW award.
