CLASS 6A

#3 Langston Hughes 52, #2 Habersham Central 45

The Raiders dropped a close game, 52-45, in the opening round at home against Langston Hughes. It was a tough ending for a great group of Hab Central Raiders, though a fantastic season nonetheless.

CLASS 3A

#3 Lumpkin County 57, #2 Ridgeland 37

Lumpkin County beat Ridgeland 57-37 on the road to pull off a huge win. For the Indians, it gets them into the Sweet 16!

#1 Sandy Creek 97, #4 Stephens County 42

The Indians lose 97-42 to Sandy Creek, thus ending Stephens County’s season.

#4 Dawson County 56, #1 Adairsville 48

The Tigers clawed past Adairsville in the first round of the playoffs, 56-48, with a massive 4-over-1 upset. Dawson County moves on to the Sweet 16.

CLASS 2A

#3 ELCA 66, #2 Union County 60

The Panthers lost a heartbreaker to ELCA at home in the first round, 66-60. Jude Ellis had 17 points and added 9 rebounds and 5 assists, Houston Henry added 15, and Hayden Hughes had 11. The season is now over for Union County.

CLASS 1A DI

#2 Rabun County 81, #3 Prince Avenue Christian 57

Rabun County advances after a convincing 81-57 win over Prince Avenue Christian. The Wildcats led by a comfy margin at the break and never wavered. Huey Blalock had a game-high 26 points, while Cooper Welch had 21, Jack Hood 14, Hayes Free 11, and Reed Burrell 9. Rabun advances to the Sweet 16!

#1 Jasper County 73, #4 Tallulah Falls 35

The Indians end their season on the road at Jasper County in a 73-35 final.

CLASS 1A DII

#4 Towns County 54, #1 Twiggs County 48

4-over-1 upset for Towns County at Twiggs County, as the Indians won 54-48 to advance to the Sweet 16!
