CLASS 6A
#3 South Paulding 58, #2 Habersham Central 29
Habersham Central’s home playoff game didn’t go according to plan, as South Paulding came in and left with a 58-29 win. That ends the Lady Raiders’ season. Sophie Bramlett had 10 points and Karah Dean had 9, while Kyia Barrett was limited to 3 points in the loss.

CLASS 5A
#1 Jefferson 56, #4 Tri-Cities 49
This was a lot closer than we anticipated, but a win’s a win! Jefferson earns a 56-49 win over Tri-Cities to advance to the Sweet 16!
CLASS 3A
#3 White County 70, #2 Ringgold 38
The Lady Warriors rolled to a huge first round win on the road at Ringgold, 70-38. Emma Lightsey (16 points), Mya Yeh (13), Kylie Watkins (12), Aaliyah Anderson (11), and Zoe Burkett (10) were all in double figures, as White County was up 32-15 at the break and in total control. The Lady Warriors are on to the Sweet 16!
#4 Dawson County 59, #1 Adairsville 28
The Lady Tigers got a stellar 4-over-1 upset at Adairsville, 59-28. Dawson was led by Abby Slaton’s huge second half in which she drained 5 3-pointers. The Lady Tigers roll on to the Sweet 16!

CLASS 2A
#1 Banks County 73, #4 McNair 17
The Lady Leopards got out to an 11-0 start behind hot shooting from Ryleigh Murphy, and her 23 points guided Banks County to a mercy clock in the second half and a 73-17 win. Reese Murphy (17 pts) and Carley Segars (14 pts) also were in double figures, while Addison Hoard had 8. Banks County moves on to the Sweet 16!
#2 Union County 62, #3 Landmark Christian 35
The Union County Lady Panthers advance after a convincing win over Landmark Christian, 62-35, on the home court. On to the Sweet 16!
CLASS 1A DI
#1 Rabun County 63, #4 Jasper County 32
The Lady Wildcats march on with a 63-32 easy win over Jasper County at home. Ellie Southards led all scorers with 18 points, while Lucy Hood had 11. A dozen different players scored in the victory, as Rabun County is on to the Sweet 16!
#3 Commerce 60, #2 Prince Avenue Christian 58 (OT)
Whew! It took extra basketball, but the Lady Tigers went a short distance to Prince Ave and pulled off the big upset, 60-58 in overtime. Commerce moves on to the Sweet 16!

CLASS 1A DII
#1 Johnson County 52, #4 Towns County 50
The Lady Indians gave an absolute full-heart effort at 1-seed Johnson, and came up just an eyelash short in a 52-50 final. That ends the season for Towns County. Brelan Sieveking had 18 points, while Laura Maulding had 11 and Emma Lallement 10. Kaleigh Beaver added 9.
