The BLITZ Baseball Players of the Week are Kaleb Chastain (Habersham Central) and Austin Anderson (Banks County).

KALEB CHASTAIN – HABERSHAM CENTRAL

In the Raiders’ opening scrimmage last week, senior outfielder Kaleb Chastain shined. He went 3-for-3 (1.000 AVG) with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Hopefully this is a sign of great things to come for him and Habersham Central this season. This is Chastain’s first POW award.

AUSTIN ANDERSON – BANKS COUNTY

Austin Anderson takes his first-ever BLITZ POW award after a solid scrimmage appearance. The Leopards’ junior pitcher went 2 innings, striking out 3 while allowing no hits.
