Last season, the Lady Wildcats won 7 matches and reached the state tournament for the fifth straight season. The team returns a lot of talent, specifically on offense, and should be certainly in the discussion for another playoff run.

Head Coach: Brad Holcombe (5th Season)
2023 Record: 7-7-2; State Rnd 1

Returning Starters: 7
Key Returners: Zara Apointe (SO; 15 G, 4 A), Abby Sego (SR; 11 G, 10 A), Keygan Antosiak, Itzia Vasquez, Quetzaly Diaz, Elizabeth Hernandez
Key Departures: Hannah Thompson (GK), Sabrina, Ayala, Jackie Marin, Kaylee Jo Watts

Team Strengths: Returning core talent; offense

The ceiling is high for this team. Rabun County returns Apointe and Sego, along with the top-5 goal scorers on the team that combined for 38 goals. That’s a tremendous advantage. Replacing their starting keeper will be something to watch for, and the progression of the defense.
