After missing out on state by a couple of games for the first time since 2019, Rabun County returns the bulk and middle of the lineup, and its top pitchers. With a brand new state-of-the-art field and an experienced group, this could be a big year for the Wildcats.

Head Coach: Wesley Satterfield (5th Season)
2023 Record: 8-14; No Playoffs

Returning Starters: 6
Key Returners: Jarret Giles OF, Reid Giles OF/P, Elvis Hunt 1B, Parker Smith SS/P, Noah English C, Carver Jarrard OF
Key Departures: Cory Keller, Nathan Thompson, Aidan Stewart

Team Strengths: “We were extremely young last year,” says Satterfield. “Our young guys now have an additional year of varsity baseball experience. We return our top two guys in our rotation along with the middle of our lineup.”

“Our goal as a team is to get back to the playoffs,” adds Satterfield. “Our region has a lot of good ball clubs in it, and we need to be playing our best baseball during region play.”
