KYIA BARRETT – HABERSHAM CENTRAL
Kyia Barrett missed a good chunk of the season so far. However, the senior point guard returned to boost the Lady Raiders, and immediately played at the high level we’re all used to seeing her play. Barrett, an Anderson University commit, averaged 18.1 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in her early return. That included hitting her much-anticipated 1,000th career point. This is her 2nd career POW award.

LUCY HOOD – RABUN COUNTY
Lucy Hood earned Battle of the States MVP honors for Rabun County. In the 3-game performance for the Lady Wildcats, the senior Western Carolina University commit went for 21.3 points, 6.9 assists, 4.1 steals, and 3.3 rebounds. This is her 9th career POW award.
