We began with 84 Football Player of the Year Nominees. After careful consideration, we narrowed that list down to 7 finalists. Those finalists are: Sammy Brown (Jefferson), Jaiden Daniels (Commerce), Cal Faulkner (Lumpkin County), Willie Goodwyn (Rabun County), Javin Gordon (Stephens County), Mason Sullens (Lumpkin County), and Caiden Tanner (Union County).

Of the players who didn’t make our finalist pool, select members are now up for a LAST FINALIST vote by you, the public. This voting is unlimited, and ends Thursday at 10 AM. VOTE HERE or Scroll Below.

WHAT’S NEXT? Following the ‘Last Finalist’ Fan Vote Winner, the finalist group will be voted on internally with a panel of up to 25 local media reporters, former GHSA officials, coaches, etc to determine the Player of the Year. The voting is Heisman-style.
