On the first play of the second quarter, Faulkner dialed long distance for Nolan Matthews on a 46-yd TD to make it 28–0. Gordon Lee finally put together a strong drive that spanned 7 minutes and got inside the 10-yard line, but they were turned away on downs. the Indians responded with a big TD drive when Faulkner scrambled for 36 yards to the end zone. It was 35–0 at the break.

Sullens scored again on a 9-yd run midway through the third to push the advantage up to 42–0. Later in the quarter, Will Staples punched in a 37-yd field goal. With a running clock the rest of the way, Lumpkin County’s shutout was turned away with a pick-six by the Trojans.
