- Tanner Cunningham 2nd Team All Region, 3-year starter who finished 2nd in scoring and had several 20+ point games last season
- Connor Chastain – 3-year starter, Vocal Captain of the team and backbone of Indians’ defense, while also being a dangerous mid range threat
- Gage Rogers – 2-year starter (3 years on varsity), Had a breakout season in 2022, averaging close to double figures in points and rebounding.
- Kade McConnell – Senior, Deep threat and team’s best passer, played varsity last season and will be stepping into a much larger role this year.

Offense: “Towns County runs a motion style offense, based on Princeton principles,” says Hunnicut.
Strengths: “Towns County returns a great deal of experience off of 3 years of success in the Region and State Playoffs,” states Hunnicut. “This is a close bunch that has grown up together playing basketball. Their toughness and selflessness help establish a defense that has held opponents to less than 50 PPG for the last two seasons.”
Biggest Challenges: “The team has been hit hard by injuries before the season starts,” adds Hunnicut. “Six of the Indians’ top 8 players start the year banged up, with three lost for the season. The team has a lot of returning experience, but due to injuries, will have to lean heavily on some young players this year. The Indians may experience some growing pains in the early part of the season and veterans start returning from injuries and the young players find their footing.”

“Towns County basketball expects to compete for Battle of States Championship, Region Championship, and State Playoffs,” exclaims Hunnicut.
