QUESTIONS FOR THE COACH

Strengths/Concerns
“We should have almost a full team, something we have struggled with in the past. We have some good up coming freshmen with our returners from last season. I am concerned with seeing region opponents too often. I feel that that is not good for us. We also will be a young team with only 3 seniors. Our juniors are good wrestlers though.”

Expectations
“I think we can few to the state tournament this year. I expect us to be better than last year even with losing two college wrestlers. They are hard to replace. Looking forward to getting started and seeing what the guys can accomplish this year.”

How is the growth of the girls side at your school? # of wrestlers, how did they finish last year, any
standouts and/or upcoming wrestlers

“We have not had girls before we are jumping in with both feet. Looks like we are going to have about 15 girls on the team this year. Not sure what to expect, I hope we can get a couple to at least sectional this year, I think that goal is obtainable we have some very committed girls trying to make up for lost time.”
