
While Habersham Central has one of the best returning players in Kyia Barrett, there is a lot of production around her to be filled. Plus, Barrett is going to miss some time early according to coach Bill Bradley. This is a transition for the Lady Raiders, who are starting at square one.

“It’s Kyia Barrett right now,” says Bradley, who also said she underwent a knee scope and will be out a few games. “The rest will be determined by the next few weeks of practice. I know FR Daytona Underwood and FR Makenzie Gosnell and new player SR Sophie Bramlett will have to make an impact.”

Biggest Challenges: “Experience, size, quickness, and depth,” says Bradley.

As for the team’s goals – “No way of knowing at this point,” states Bradley. “We are truly back at the beginning with our program.”
