JULIANNA YORK – LUMPKIN COUNTY

Julianna York is at it again. The Lumpkin County junior first baseman hit .667 last week, also notching a .714 OBP across 3 games. She drove in 5 runs and scored 2 in the process for Lumpkin, earning her second POW award of this season.

IZZY ANTHROS – UNION COUNTY

Freshman Izzy Anthros is emerging as a big-time player in Region 8-AA. The Union County pitcher last week went 1-1 in the circle with 23 strikeouts across 13 innings of work. At the plate, Anthros drilled a homerun and a double with 3 total hits. This is her first POW award.
