The BLITZ Volleyball Players of the Week are Reese Jones (Union County) who won the fan vote with 3,350 of the 5,440 total votes, and Addy McCoy (Tallulah Falls) as the BLITZ Pick.

REESE JONES – UNION COUNTY

Union County’s Reese Jones had a nice week for the Lady Panthers. The sophomore setter had 54 assists, 18 digs, 5 kills, 4 aces, and a block along with an 89% serve percentage in 3 matches played. This is Jones’ first POW award.

ADDY MCCOY – TALLULAH FALLS

Addy McCoy had a monster week, especially at the service line. The #6-ranked Lady Indians won the Bronze Bracket Championship at the Rocky Top Invitational in Tennessee, and TFS played 10 matches last week. In that span, the senior hitter had 68 kills, 45 digs, 31 aces, 5 blocks, and 3 assists. In the process, she eclipsed 100 aces for the season, and set the new all-time aces record for Tallulah Falls. This is McCoy’s 4th career POW award.
