ANTONIO CANTRELL – HABERSHAM CENTRAL

Running back Antonio Cantrell patiently waited for his opportunity. It came for the Raiders in their Week 4 win over Central Gwinnett. The junior posted 118 rushing yards and a TD in the second quarter of a scoreless game. He averaged 4.7 yards per carry, toting the ball 25 times in the contest. He also recorded one tackle in the victory. This is Cantrell’s first POW award.

SKYLER ZIMMERMAN – JEFFERSON

There are very few defensive performances equal to this one. Skyler Zimmerman showed why he’s a DI recruit. The Dragons star linebacker registered 18 total tackles! That was just the tip of the iceberg. Zimmerman blew up play after play, recording 3 sacks, another TFL, blocked a punt that went out at the 2-yard line, and had a fumble recovery for a TD. This is Zimmerman’s first POW award, and it’s 100% earned.
