Ty Truelove showed out in his long-anticipated first career start. The sophomore QB, who is fielding DI interest already, threw for 220 yards and 4 TDs, adding 32 rushing yards and a TD. He completed 75% of his passes (15/20). This is Truelove’s second career POW award. Truelove also becomes the 200th POW award given over the years to Rabun County!

SAMMY BROWN – JEFFERSON
The nation’s top linebacker and 5-star Clemson commit showed he’s all in for his senior season at Jefferson. The Dragons star rallied the team to victory in Week 1 against Alpharetta, going for 90 rushing yards and 4 TDs, and several chase-down tackles including swatting away a pass from the QB’s hand, and stopping a 4th & short inside the red zone. He’s in for a special season. This is Brown’s 9th career POW award.
