The BLITZ Volleyball Players of the Week are Lola Pruitt (Banks), who won the fan vote with 7,272 of the 12,948 total votes, and Maggie Blair (White) as the BLITZ Pick.

LOLA PRUITT – BANKS COUNTY

Lola Pruitt last won POW honors as a freshman. She’s long been a standout player, and showed it again in the first week of her senior season. The outside hitter helped guide the Lady Leopards last week. She tallied 29 kills with 20 digs and 3 aces to her credit as well. This is her second career POW award.

MAGGIE BLAIR – WHITE COUNTY

Senior Maggie Blair has been instrumental in the great start for the Lady Warriors. Last week, White County gave Jefferson all it could handle in a 2-1 loss, but soared past Athens Academy 2-0. Outside hitter Blair had 13 kills, 10 digs, 3 aces, and a block. This is her first POW award.
