The nation’s top linebacker, Jefferson’s Sammy Brown, has already wrapped up his recruitment with a commitment earlier this summer to Clemson University. Since then, the preseason honors have been rolling in for the standout athlete.

To date, Brown was named a Preseason All-American by MaxPreps at the LB position. He was named Preseason All-State for Class 5A by the AJC, and earned superlatives of ‘Best Player’ and ‘Most Highly Recruited’ for Class 5A by the publication.

Furthermore, Brown was named a ‘Power 100’ top player in the state of Georgia by Georgia High School Football Daily. Recruit Georgia then rolled out its Preseason All-State list, and Brown again appeared at LB for Class 5A.

Finally, Brown was named an AJC Super 11 selection as one of the best 11 players in the entire state!
