Banks County has a new standout emerging already. Across the first game of the season for the Lady Leopards, pitcher Peyton Gaylor led Banks by going 2-for-3 (.667) with a run, and grabbed the win in the circle in a 7-inning complete game effort. This is Gaylor’s first POW award.

Senior third baseman Audrey Burton blasted her way to POW honors. In a double-header split with North Hall, Burton launched a pair of homeruns, going 5-for-9 (.556 AVG) overall, scoring 3 runs while driving in 3 as well for the #7-ranked Lady Dragons. This is Burton’s first POW award.
