We caught up with Jefferson softball on the eve of the Lady Dragons’ first game. After missing out on state last year, this is ‘revenge season’ for the girls and new head coach Allan Bailey! We talked with head coach Bailey, and senior standouts Audrey Burton (3B), Avery Hays (IF), and junior P Addison Self.
The girls talked about the outlook for the new season, playing great defense and pitching well, and having a tight bond. Jefferson opened its season on Saturday, August 5.
