Rabun County got back to the postseason after missing the two years before. This program is accustomed to some deep runs, including a Final 4 in 2019, Elite 8’s in 2016 and 2018, and a Sweet 16 in 2017. The bar is high, and despite losing 5 talented seniors, the girls look to reload and once again be playing their best at the end.
Head Coach: April Jones, 3rd season
2022 Record: 17-20; Round One
“We want to improve our overall winning record, be 3rd or better in the area, and go further in the state tournament than last year,” states 3rd-year coach April Jones.

Personnel
Returning Starters: 4
Key Departures: S Allana Jones, L Abbye Carver, S Ashley Slappey, MH Caroline Bahin, OH Mira Tennefield

Strengths: “Returning experienced players who know the game and work well together,” adds Jones.
