Following an Elite 8 run in 2021, the 2022 version of the Lady Tigers struggled to find consistency, missing out on the postseason. Coach Justin Rickett is making sure his team has put in the hard work, and he feels this team is athletic and able to get back to competing at a high level.
Head Coach: Justin Rickett, 3rd season
2022 Record: 5-20; No Playoffs
“This group has really been working hard and is a fun team to be around,” adds Rickett. “I can’t wait to see them compete I think they will be athletic and exciting.”

Personnel
Returning Starters: 6
Key Departures: Reese Moore, Lauren Kurtz
Key Returning Players: Layne Bailey, Bryce Greenwood, Sadie Dotson, Ace Cochran, Micah Burruss, Avery Heidt
This returning cast of 6 starters is exceptional. Bailey is a great 2-way talent, and the others are playing year around to fine-tune their craft. The talent is most definitely there.

Strengths
Strengths: “We are returning 6 starters from a young team last year,” says Rickett. “We are hoping to have more experience this year. We feel like if we can stay healthy, we’ve got a chance to compete.”
