GIRLS SOCCER
ELLA PARKER

Ella Parker twice set the school record for Jefferson with 16 assists in both her junior and senior seasons. The 2-time All-Region selection was a defensive player truly, but her incredible versatility led to the Lady Dragons shifting her to offense during her sophomore year. Even still, she finishes with 21 G, 16 A as a junior in 2022 and 25 G, 16 A as a senior in 2023. That ended with her getting 52 goals and 35 assists over the last two-plus years combined after moving to offense. Parker went on to play at East Tennessee State University. (6,771 votes)

SARAH SHOOK

Sarah Shook’s stats don’t do justice. Not that there’s anything wrong with 32 goals and 29 assists. However, like most teams, 2020 was marred by COVID. Unlike most teams though, Towns County only got 2 games in. That was a lost freshman year for Shook. Her being a key starter on the Lady Indians basketball team while they continued to make postseason runs also led to her missing chunks of each year in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Still, Shook helped guide Towns County to the Final 4 in both 2021 and 2022, and a State Championship appearance in 2023. The All-State and 3-time All-Region pick was the team MVP in both her junior and senior year despite only playing about 1/2 the season in each of the sophomore, junior, and senior campaigns. HAZEN RAMEY

Hazen Ramey leaves White County as the all-time leader in goals (121) and assists (39). She didn’t get a chance to do anything in COVID 2020’s marred season, but in her sophomore 2021 campaign, she exploded for 36 goals and 13 assists (single-season school record at the time). She built on that with a school-record 44 goals to go with 10 assists in 2022, and polished off her career with a 39-goal, 11-assist 2023 season. The forward was a 3-time All-Region and 2-time All-State selection, and she was critical to the deep playoff runs each season for the Lady Warriors. (5,026 votes)

CHLOE DIAZ

Chloe Diaz had an unbelievable career for the Lady Tigers of Commerce. She was at the forefront of the rise of the program to a region title and State Championship game appearance as well as several deep playoff runs. The midfielder finished with 151 goals and 104 assists, graduating as the 2nd-leading scorer and 3rd in assists in school history. Her freshman 2020 season, though cut short by COVID, included 31 goals and 13 assists. Her 2021 sophomore season featured 65 goals and 42 assists, giving her 172 points (2nd in the nation and 1st in Georgia). She was named Region Co-POY with teammate Ivy Tolbert that year. She tore her ACL and missed nearly all of her junior 2022 season, but returned for the playoff run and into the State Championship match. She tallied 8 goals and 8 assists that year in limited action, but eclipsed 100 career goals at that point. In 2023, she polished off her career with 47 goals and 41 assists. Diaz earned All-State and All-Region status 3 times each. She went on to play soccer at the University of North Georgia. (1,017 votes – Producer’s Pass)
