GIRLS BASKETBALL

NOAMI ROBERTS

Look beyond the career stats. Naomi Roberts was capable of scoring far more than she did, though her 13.0 PPG as a senior should be noted. White County has been a team with few 1,000-point scorers due to the insane depth and distribution. It’s what makes the program so tough to beat. Still, Roberts was a general on the court, and led the Lady Warriors often in the last two seasons. She finished with 828 points, 267 boards, 117 assists, 142 steals, 57 blocks, and 7 charges taken, earning All-State nods as a senior. She was a 2-time 1st Team All-Region player, and took her talent to Emmanuel College. (2,680 votes)

MARY MULLINAX

Mary Mullinax raked at Lumpkin County…yet she left a TON of numbers off the stat sheet by being a team-first, unselfish player. Still, Mullinax topped 1,433 career points, 693 rebounds, 328 assists, 276 steals, and 136 3-pointers. A State Champion in 2021-22 and Runner-Up in 2022-23, Mullinax was an elite high school talent with top-notch character. She was a back-to-back BLITZ Player of the Year after going for 17.6 points and 8.2 rebounds as a junior and 17.7 and 7.6 as a senior. KAMRYN GRIER

Kamryn Grier battled adversity through injuries often, yet still amazed as a dominant post player with 1,000+ points and rebounds (1,314 PTS, 1,090 REB). That’s an extremely rare group to be in, and the 2022-23 Region POY led the Banks County Lady Leopards to a State Championship game as senior while averaging 14 points and 10 boards per game. She went for 16 points and 12 rebounds as a junior, earning 1st Team All-Region status. An elite shot blocker, Grier also had 142 career rejections. Grier went on to play at Emmanuel College.
