Sophomore Tanner Davis took the next step as a 1-singles player, and polished off an undefeated season for the Indians while earning BLITZ Player of the Year honors!

The Region Player of the Year adds to his haul with the BLITZ Player of the Year. Davis went a flawless 15-0 on the season, which comes a year after he went 9-5. He tied with teammate TJ Cox for the single-season wins mark at 15, as both went unbeaten. Davis went 183-42 overall in games, and lost only 2 sets all season long.

Tanner Davis edged out Habersham’s Lije Smith, as both were undefeated on the season and split 1st-place votes. Davis took 9 against Smith’s 5, and Davis’ teammate TJ Cox along with the Lumpkin doubles combo of Will & Jack McKinney each took a 1st-place vote.

Tanner Davis is the second Tallulah Falls player to win, and first since 2017 when Trey Wilcox won it as part of his 3-peat between Rabun County and TFS. Davis is the third sophomore or younger to win it, and the 10th 1-singles player to take home the award.
