CASSIDY HAYES & LANDRY CARNES – TALLULAH FALLS

Tallulah Falls’ undefeated season enters the Elite 8 (on Monday). Cassidy Hayes is a senior who stands in 2nd-place all-time in school history in total wins (singles/doubles combined wins). Her 2-doubles partner is sophomore Landry Carnes. In the Sweet 16 win, the duo clinched the match with a comeback win over their Galloway opponents. The girls won 16 out of 26 games, winning the first and last set while dropping the middle set. They were down 2-0 in the third set before the epic comeback. This is both players’ first POW awards.

WILL & JACK MCKINNEY – LUMPKIN COUNTY

Lumpkin County’s 2-doubles combo of Will and Jack McKinney punched out a win last week to lead the Indians into the Elite 8! This is both players’ first POW awards, and the boys are a solid 8-1 together at 2-doubles this season.
