
BLITZ has named the dynamic duo of Sarah Jennings and Addy McCoy Players of the Week following Tallulah Falls’ State Championship win over Mt. Bethel.



SARAH JENNINGS – TALLULAH FALLS

Sarah Jennings was on a mission, and she wouldn’t be denied of a state title to finish off her high school career. The senior outside hitter had an outrageous 25 kills in the title match, adding 2 aces and 2 assists, a block, and 19 digs. She earns her fourth career POW award and second of the season.

ADDY MCCOY – TALLULAH FALLS

Addy McCoy came up every time the Lady Indians needed her. After TFS took an opening-set win in the State Championship, a thriller went Mt. Bethel’s way in the second to level the match. In the third set, the Lady Indians were trailing. Then McCoy at serve led a 16-0 serving run, putting in multiple aces, monster spikes, and ended up polishing off the title match with back-to-back aces to claim Tallulah Falls’ first-ever title. She finished with 7 kills, 11 aces, 7 digs, and 2 blocks. This is McCoy’s third POW award of the season and her career.
