ROBERT WALKER – BANKS COUNTY
It was a fantastic first month of the season for Banks County’s Robert Walker. He’s a legit playmaker on defense, and showed out in Banks County’s first 3 games. The Leopards’ junior defensive end tallied 22 tackles, including 3 for loss. He racked up 2 sacks, and a ridiculous 4 forced fumbles. This is Walker’s second award, as he was also a Defensive Player of the Month in the 2021 season.

SETH RUTAN – UNION COUNTY
Seth Rutan was all over the field for Union County during its 3-1 start. In that span, the junior safety notched 37 tackles, including 11 for loss. He had 3 sacks, an interception (that went for a TD), a fumble recovery, and a pass deflection as well as a QBH to his credit. This is Rutan’s first award.
