The BLITZ Tennis Player of the Week is the senior trio of Commerce girls Carson Hobbs and Lauren Lindsey, and Jefferson boys senior Aaron Eason.

CARSON HOBBS – BLITZ PICK

Commerce senior Carson Hobbs (#3 Singles) has been reliable and perfect throughout the postseason, as she went 2-0 in the region tourney and 2-0 in the state tournament in getting to the Elite 8. This is Hobb’s third career POW award.

LAUREN LINDSEY – BLITZ PICK

Fellow Commerce senior Lauren Lindsey, like Hobbs (above), has not wavered at #2 singles throughout the postseason. She has won all 4 of her matches heading into the Elite 8, earning her first POW award.

AARON EASON – BLITZ PICK

Aaron Eason was clutch for Jefferson last week. The Dragons SR at #1 singles went 2-0, including nailing down a game-winner. Both of his wins came down to the wire, and were 3-set victories. This is his first POW award.
