The BLITZ Golfer of the Week Fan Vote collected 9,678 total votes, with 4,830 going to winner Connor Horton (Rabun). BLITZ then named Commerce’s Henry Sharpton as Co-Golfer of the Week.

CONNOR HORTON – FAN VOTE

Rabun County’s Connor Horton has a legitimate shot at being among the top of Class 2A when the season closes in the state tournament. Last week was a fantastic week on the course, as the senior carded a 9-hole average of 31.5. This is his second POW award this season and 3rd of his career.

HENRY SHARPTON – BLITZ PICK

Commerce senior Henry Sharpton was solid in his round at Chicopee Woods last week. The senior finished with a 37, and was -3 thru the first 6 holes. This is Sharpton’s second career POW award.
