The BLITZ Golfer of the Week was named by BLITZ as both Dawson County’s Alex Hughes and White County’s Cameron Kimsey.

ALEX HUGHES – BLITZ PICK

Alex Hughes is set for a big senior year for Dawson County. Last week, he shot a 37 across 9 holes at Chestatee, and also carded a 79 in an 18-hole match in the Athens Classic at the UGA Golf Course. This is Hughes’ first POW award.

CAMERON KIMSEY – BLITZ PICK

Cameron Kimsey is making a name already for herself at White County, which is no surprise really. The freshman had a 9-hole personal best of 39 last week in a win for the Lady Warriors over North Hall, Gainesville, and Hart County. This is Kimsey’s first POW award.
