The BLITZ Track & Field Athlete of the Week award goes to Mercades Housman of Lumpkin County.

MERCADES HOUSMAN – BLITZ PICK

Mercades Housman is off to a spectacular senior year. The do-it-all athlete for Lumpkin County completed a sweep in 4 events in every meet so far this season. That includes the top spot in the 100 meter dash, long jump, triple jump, and 4×100 relay. This is Housman’s first POW award.
