With the official arrival of the 2022 season, we took a detailed look at our Team-by-Team Season Previews to compile our official Power Rankings, Preseason edition. This comes with a caveat that this is based on teams’ talent coming back, and will surely change once games are played.

1. White County – coming off region title & 12 wins, lost a lot but return a lot too
2. Jefferson – fresh off Final 4 run, though lost top 3 players
3. Union County – coming off region title, 10-win season and return top scorer
4. Habersham Central – perhaps the most depth among the local teams
5. Towns County – coming off 11-win, Final 4 season, losing 2 incredible players
6. Tallulah Falls – fresh off first-ever playoff run, but lost top 2 goal scorers and keeper
7. Dawson County – coming off 1-win season, but 11 club players and 10 returning starters back
8. Commerce – coming off surprise playoff run with a lot of upside this year
9. Rabun County – coming off 3-win season, but return top MF and DEF players
10. Lumpkin County – coming off 2-win season and lost 8 starters
11. Stephens County – coming off 1-win season with many players needed to step up
12. Banks County – coming off 1-win season and losing top player
