
Dawson County’s Jimmy Fallstrom (OL) and Rabun County’s Chris Thompson (DL) have been named the Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week by BLITZ.
JIMMY FALLSTROM – DAWSON OL

Jimmy Fallstrom earns his first-ever BLITZ award after leading a front line that paved the way for 52 points and over 400 yards of offense in a Dawson County win over Gilmer. The senior lineman also ensured pocket passer QB Zach Holtzclaw remained upright, allowing no sacks.

CHRIS THOMPSON – RABUN DL

Chris Thompson came up BIG in the trenches in a Wildcat win over a 6A large group from Grovetown. The senior recorded 9 tackles, including 3 in the backfield. He also had a sack to his credit. This is Thompson’s third HEMC award, as he won it twice as a junior in 2020 both as an OL and DL member.
