In the Track & Field Athlete of the Week fan vote, which totaled 787 votes, Rabun County’s Molly Jo Wright (488 votes) took the honors for Athlete of the Week.

MOLLY JO WRIGHT – FAN VOTE

Rabun County sophomore distance runner Molly Jo Wright earns her second-ever POW award (another in cross country), as she had an incredible performance in the Ridge Runner Classic. In the pole vault, Wright notched a 7’0 mark, good for 5th in the event. She was the winner of the 3200 with a time of 13:49, and finished 7th in the 1600 (6:19).
