
Towns County traveled to Chattahoochee County on Saturday and came away with yet another historic win, securing their place in the Class 1A Public State Championship game.

The Indians (24-3) trailed 25-23 at the half, but came back to take a 59-45 win to advance to the title game. The 2-point deficit had turned into a 7-point lead going into the final quarter, and with about 4 minutes left, Towns had put the game away.
The Indians move on to play Hancock Central in the title game at Macon Coliseum on March 13 at 12:30 PM. Towns is seeking its first-ever state title.
