#10 Jefferson (12-4, 5-2 in 8-AAAA) visited Tiger on Saturday evening and grinded its way to a 44-38 win over Rabun County (3-17, 1-2 in 8-AA). The Dragons and Wildcats couldn’t generate much offense in the first half, as the teams were knotted up at 17 going into the break.

Jefferson outscored Rabun 12-4 in the third to create some breathing room, and held off a ferocious comeback attempt by the Cats in the fourth to cling to a 44-38 win.
Dalen Gales led the way with 18 points for the Dragons, as Josh Howell and JT Fulkrod had 7 apiece. Spencer Darby had 5 as well for Jefferson. Rabun was led in scoring by Connor McKay and Grayson Carver, as both finished with 15 points. Clayton Dixon chipped in with 5 points for the Cats.
