Habersham Central suffered a tough 80-40 loss on Tuesday at home to #5-ranked Shiloh (9-3, 2-0 in 7-AAAAAA). The Raiders (7-6, 0-2) fell behind early, trailing 17-3 after just one quarter. Despite a second quarter surge by the Raiders, the Generals and their deep bench kept the pace and ran away in the second half.

Habersham couldn’t find any offense throughout the first quarter, while Shiloh’s athleticism and size played a factor in pulling ahead so early. Malachi Dooley, Jacob Brown, and Brannon Gaines found some success in the second quarter, as Habersham pulled inside double digits momentarily.
However, Shiloh went back up and still outscored the Raiders 17-15 in the second. A 20-8 run in third quarter left Habersham down 54-26 going into the final quarter of play. Dooley led with 16 points for the Raiders, while Brown finished with 9.
