The Player of the Week Fan Vote for Girls Basketball Player of the Week topped out at 16,762 votes, with Union County’s Rebekah Chambers tallying 7,103 to win the award. BLITZ then picked Commerce’s Bryanna Sanders as Co-POW.

Rebekah Chambers is a first-time POW award winner. It comes after the junior forward for Union tallied 16 points in a game last week for the Lady Panthers.

BRYANNA SANDERS – BLITZ PICK

Commerce senior guard Bryanna Sanders has long been a playmaker. The Lady Tigers standout scored 17 points in a game last week, eclipsing 1,000 career points in the process. This is Sanders’ second POW award of her career.
