
Denika Lightbourne picked up right where she left off last season. The sophomore scored a game best 12 points in limited action in a Tuesday scrimmage at home against Towns County as Tallulah Falls won 49-14.
TFS led right out of the gate, going up 5-0. Lightbourne had a great second and third quarter, as she had an electrifying 3-point play in the second and scored the first 7 points of the third quarter. Towns County was held without a bucket for the entire second quarter, being outscored 15-1 in the quarter.

Tallulah Falls held a sizeable 28-6 lead at the break, and won by 35 points. Veronaye Charlton had 10 points, including 7 in the first half, while Katy Corbett and Kailyn Neal both had 6 points, with all coming off 3-pointers. Towns County was led in scoring by Jayce Young, who had 6 points in the losing effort.
