Dawson County’s Ethan Smith raced out to a 43rd place finish in the Tigers meet last week, clocking a time of 17:13. This is the junior’s first Runner of the Week award.

ANDREW KIVETT – BLITZ PICK

Habersham Central senior Andrew Kivett has been dominant this season. The Raider standout placed runner-up in his meet last week with a time of 16:23, a new PR for him in XC.

So far this season, Kivett has placed first in the North Georgia Championships (August 29), first at North Oconee (September 3), first at Winder-Barrow (September 12), and second at the Apple Hawkins Invitational (September 19). This is Kivett’s first Runner of the Week award.
