Volleyball Player of the Week fan votes finished at 35,226 total tallies. Tallulah Falls’ Sarah Jennings earned the Fan Vote with 17,748 votes, ahead of second place vote-getter Jadelyn McClure of Banks County (11,116). BLITZ then named Habersham Central’s Madeline Koshuta as Co-Player of the Week.

Sarah Jennings had a monster week last week for Tallulah Falls. The sophomore outside hitter tallied 29 kills, 39 digs, 10 aces, and 1 assist in competition last week.

This is Jennings’ first-ever Player of the Week award.

MADELINE KOSHUTA – BLITZ PICK

Likewise, another sophomore outside hitter from nearby Habersham Central won POW honors. Madeline Koshuta notched 45 kills, 35 digs, 3 aces, and 2 blocks in earning the recognition.

This is Koshuta’s second Player of the Week award of her career.
