
The Lady Panthers led within the final minutes against Early County in the 2A Elite 8, and a tip-in by the visitors in what turned out to be a 60-58 loss.

The go-ahead bucket fell in with 2 seconds left in the game, and Union had a couple of shot attempts that were blocked as the buzzer sounded. The Lady Panthers (23-7) led by 6 with just under 5 minutes to go, and led 11-6 after the first quarter.
Ava Hunter led Union with 17 points, while Andelin Hill had 16 and Brooke Dockrey 14. This ends the Lady Panthers’ dream season.
