Union’s Williams earns runner-up finish at state to headline Panthers swim action

The Union County High School Swim Team competed at Georgia Tech in the 2020 GHSA Swimming Championships for 1A-5A Schools this past week.

Brian Williams placed 2nd in the State in the 200 yd Individual Medley (50 yd Fly, 50 yd Back, 50 yd Breast, 50 yd Free) with a time of 1:58.00.

The team had six swimmers qualify to swim in the Preliminary Races on Friday, 2/7/20. Williams advanced to finals on Saturday 2/8/20 in both of his individual events: 200 yard Individual Medley and 100 Yard Breaststroke.
