With the release of the All-Region 8-AA list, Rabun County and Union dominated with 20 players gaining recognition. Banks County also placed 3 on the list.

The honors were highlighted by Rabun’s Gunner Stockton, who was named Player of the Year, as well as teammate Braxton Hicks (Athlete of the Year), Union County’s John Mancuso (Defensive Player of the Year) and Panthers’ teammate Pierson Allison (Offensive Player of the Year). Union’s Brian Allison was also named Coach of the Year.
