Here are the final regular season predictions. We have had a fantastic guessing game this year, making good on roughly 85% of our guesses.

DISCLAIMER: We dissect the numbers, check against other projections, utilize the brain and not the heart. If we pick against any of our beloved 11 programs, take it as a diss if you want, or use it as motivation. We obviously would love to see all 11 programs win every single game, so we’ll celebrate even if we’re wrong if it means our locals walk away as winners.

#6 Union County vs #1 Rabun County

The Game of the Year…again! Both unbeaten, both state-ranked (Rabun is #1 in MaxPreps poll; Union #6 in GPB and SA polls), both fighting for a region crown against their arch-rivals. Doesn’t get any better than this. Word is that Union MAY have Kyle Morlock back from injury. That would be a huge boost for the Panthers. This one is always a well-hyped battle. While Union’s offense is even better in 2019, the Wildcats looking even better on offense as well; you still have to give them the upper hand. Should be a great one! WE PICK RABUN

Stephens County vs St. Pius X

The Indians win, and they’re in. They lose, and it’s all over. Stephens has lost 8 straight games after a 1-0 start. While we like Stephens at home, the St. Pius defense is quietly 3rd-best in the region. For that reason, WE PICK ST. PIUS

White County vs #2 Blessed Trinity

The Warriors’ fate has been sealed, but the guys would love to go out with a bang when hosting Blessed Trinity. Still, those guys just have so much clout. WE PICK BT

#6 Commerce vs George Walton

The Tigers square off with George Walton in a region cross-over game. This one will be a bit challenging, but WE PICK COMMERCE

Towns County vs Athens Christian

Towns County takes on Athens Christian in a region cross-over game. WE PICK ATHENS CHRISTIAN

#10 Dawson County @ North Hall

This game is always a fun one. The Tigers have held the edge for some time in this series, though it has continued to be an appealing game and never short of dramatic. We like this game to be close, but still WE PICK DAWSON

Lumpkin County @ East Hall

The Indians have a shot to finish the season with a win, as both teams here are 1-8 coming in. It’s time WE PICK LUMPKIN

Habersham Central @ Apalachee

The Raiders suffered a heart-break to seal their fate last week, but it’s time to put it behind them and look to the future. That starts on the road in Week 12. WE PICK HAB

Banks County @ Elbert County

Leopards and Blue Devils go to work in the Granite Bowl. Banks County is in for a long ride there, so with Elbert at home WE PICK ELBERT
